Electrode used for overlay welding renders an 18 Cr 8 Ni 2 Mo deposit from the very first layer. Highly alloyed low carbon electrode can be used for welding high strength Hardox® and Armox® steels. It has an extra thick coating to render a high deposition rate with a metal recovery of about 150%. Affordable electrode can be used as a alternative for overlay welding in horizontal position.
